Created as a farewell celebration for my college roommates, this intimate outdoor dinner embraced the warmth and simplicity of Italian summer entertaining.
A hand-painted kraft-paper table covering served as the foundation of the design, adding a personal and unexpected touch to an otherwise simple outdoor setting.
The menu celebrated fresh, seasonal ingredients with Italian-inspired favorites, including peach and burrata salad, pasta with fresh tomatoes and basil, toasted bread, and crisp white wine.
Rather than relying on elaborate decorations, the atmosphere came together through thoughtful food presentation, handmade details, natural surroundings, and the relaxed charm of outdoor dining.
The result was a meaningful summer evening centered around the things that matter most: good food, lasting friendships, and time spent together.
